ForFarmers is a modern, ambitious, international company that is committed to taking corporate sustainability to the next level. It produces and supplies regular and organic feed and commodities such as arable and grassland products, focusing mainly on the cattle, pig, poultry, arable and contract work sectors. Besides products, it also offers its customers an additional portfolio of services ranging from in-depth advice to assistance with business development and information on milk quotas. It sells its feeds in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. It also has interests with other activities in various countries, particularly in Europe.

ForFarmers has ten production sites in the Netherlands and Germany for its compound feed activities. In the Netherlands these are located in Almelo, Delden, Deventer, Harreveld and Lochem, and in Germany they are in Calveslage, Hamburg, Langförden, Rapshagen and Rees. It supplies more than 10,000 farmers with products and services from these sites. Its head office is in Lochem.

ForFarmers’ legal structure changed on 1 January 2010. The group is now headed by ForFarmers Group B.V. In addition to its activities in feeds and commodities, ForFarmers also has several group companies: Opfok de KuikenaeR and Cefetra (57.7%). Opfok de KuikenaeR is involved in breeding and selling parent animals to the meat chicken industry. Cefetra is a major international supplier and logistics service provider of raw materials for feed, food and fuel. Cefetra has logistics facilities in various European countries. It became a majority shareholding in 2009.

ForFarmers also has minority interests in the following companies: Agrovision, Probroed, Cebeco Agrochemie, Cebeco Meststoffen and the De Schothorst Research Centre.

ForFarmers has a clear and consistent vision. It constantly strives to add value to its products for its customers. Its core values are: ambition, sustainability and return. As one of the major players in the agricultural sector in North-West Europe, it also plays a role in meeting the demand for food in a sustainable way.

ForFarmers’ ambition is to be one of the biggest and best customer-focused companies in farm animal feeds in Europe. ForFarmers wants to remain attractive to its customers in the future by doing everything it can to improve yields on its customers’ farms. In order to do so, it needs to grow its sales even further. To achieve this, ForFarmers is open to mergers and acquisitions, but only if they make a positive contribution to achieving its aim of becoming ‘bigger and better’.
